All volunteer work needs to be completed 60 days after project completion. In-kind labor can be provided on your property or others within the project area. In-kind labor will be documented using CUSP in-kind form and signed by you or your representative upon completion.
Contractor work will include sawing, hauling and chipping of forest slash. All contractors will be managed by Coalition for the Upper South Platte (CUSP). Most slash will be returned to your property as wood chips, which will be piled or distributed at your direction. The 2014 projects are aimed to create defensible space around structures, fuel breaks and firebreaks, all in compliance with criteria of the Colorado State Forest Service and CUSP.
