As the days grow longer and warmer, we are moving outdoors for a wide range of activities. For many of us, those activities include cleaning up slash around our homes and on our properties.

While recent snow storms have helped a bit to bring some much-needed moisture to the area, they have not taken us out of “Very Dry” or “Moderate Drought” status and high winds along the Front Range have swept us back into frequent “Fire Weather” days. Additionally, summer forecast models are predicting warmer and dryer than usual weather. These are conditions that amplify the importance of maintaining our properties and keeping them clear of potential fire fuels. CUSP is here to help. We will be opening our Bailey and Fairplay slash sites the first weekend in May.  The requirements and restrictions for the sites are the same.
